Lenice Powell Peck, 99, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 29,2003. She played the piano for visitors and residents at Beaufont Towers where she lived. She was a member of Elkhardt Baptist Church. Lenice was blessed to have church members visit her every week. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Peck. She is survived by two sisters, Winnie P. Ferrell and Lois P. Ferguson; and a faithful and devoted caregiver, Lucy Lee. Her remains rest at Bliley Funeral Homes', Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. where family will receive friends Friday, (today) from 3 to 5 p. m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Elkhardt Baptist Church. 6715 Hull St. Rd., Richmond, Va. 23224, or your choice of charities.
