CHRISTIAN2 NORVELL (James) who married Booth Napier, Jr., had a child by 1765, Based on the birth of this child, Christian's latest possible birth date would have been 1749, but she was perhaps born earlier, since her husband would have been forty in 1765. She is assumed to be a daughter of James Norvell, Sr" of Goochland, the only Norvell in Goochland who was old enough to be her father. Her child was baptized and her husband eulogized by the Rev. William Douglas who lived near the Norvells
in Goochland, Christian's husband died in 1770 and nothing further about her life has come to light. The only known child of Booth and Christian (Norvell) Napier was William Napier, born in 1765 ²¹
