Description: I am the descendent of Benjamin Booth. He was my 3rd great grandfather, His son, Rufus was my great, great grandfather and his son, Benjamin Franklin Booth was my great grandfather (the only one that I knew growing up). His daughter, Jewel Faith was my grandmother. Her sister Louise is still living in Ennis, TX. Their cousin Bernard Booth (the last male Booth) is still living as well. I was curious of Benjamin Franklin's (1811-1880) other children, particularly the three older sons that were killed in the Civil War. I located their names! I went to the Mississippi census and found the information. In 1850, living in Ohtibbeha County, Mississippi, Benjamin Booth (age 38) and wife Elizabeth McCowen (age 27) and their children.. James - age 12, John age 10, William age 6, Lotty age 5, Sarah age 3 and Rufus listed as zero (just a baby as he was born in 1849). It shows all of the children were born in this county in Mississippi.

This message is written by Jeanette Miller Grisham, granddaughter of J.W. Ross. This information was given to me by my Mother's cousin, Beverly Ann Ross Eidson, who is helping me do genealogy research. She lives in MS., and I live in Denton Co., TX, near Wise Co. where the Benjamin Booth line settled back in 1859. We are trying to confirm this information. The Brittle, Hutchings, Baileys, etc., were all intermarried families with the Windhams and Booths. I have most of the documentation on just who married 'who' but it is very 'round-about'. The Webpage has all the court records and documentations I could find for Aaron. Check it out and see if any of these things give you a further connection. I know we have George Booth further back and that this line is John Ottinger's line. He also has much good documentation on the webpage.
