Clara Belle never married. She worked for Norfolk & Western Railway at Norfolk
Office and retired from there. She lived in an apt. in Norfolk for many years.
She contacted her cousin, Hannah Peck Johnson in 1978 afer seeing the obit of
Hannahs husband, Jabray, and stayed in touch after that. Clara Belle was still
living in April, 1996. A gravestone for her, identical to her mother's is
beside her mother's grave.
