Paul and Ovlyn Westbrook conveyed 1/4 ac. to the decendants of Joseph Percy Westbrook for use as a burying ground. Also searched deed books and land books to determine how J. Paul acquired the farm on which the cemetery is located, Was it originally part of a larger tract of family property? In Land Book for the yr. 1909 Paul owned 65 acres acquired from W. A. Clements, (either Sr. or Tr. writting unclear.) Another search should be made at a later time to gather more information because later land books showed he owned a total of 155 ac.
