    Emmett Robert Harrison was the son of Charles Edward Harrison, Sr. and Mary Louisa Harrison. He had 8 siblings: Ella P. Harrison, Alexina Susan Harrison, Joseph C. Harrison, Charles Edward Harrison, Jr., Edmund T. Harrison, Samuel Douglas Harrison, Sr., W. Harrison (male) and William Watkins Harrison.

    Emmett Robert Harrison married Rosa Belle Hall on April 28, 1880. They had two children: Lillian Blanch Harrison and Charles Clifton Harrison. Rosa Belle Hall Harrison died on March 3, 1898 in Prince George, Virginia.
