The Last Lill and Testament of JOHN POND was presented in court by ELIZABETH POND the executrix therein named, who made oath to it. And being proved by the oaths of ANTHONY LAMB and MARK CROSS witnesses thereto, it is admitted to record and the said ELIZABETH having together with WILLIAM WISE her security, entered into a bond for her just and faithful administration on the said POND'S estate (with bond acknowledged is admitted to record) and on her motion a certificate is granted her for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.

Know all men by these presents that we ELIZABETH POND and WILLIAM WISE of the county of York are held firmly bound unto the Worshipful Justices of the county aforesaid in the sum of fifty pounds sterling payable to the said Justices, their heirs and successors or some of them. To them which payment will and truly to be made, we bind ourselves and every us, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally bound firmly by these presents sealed with our seals dated this 19th day of January 1718.
The condition of this obligation is such that if the above bonded ELIZABETH POND, executrix of the Last Will and Testament of JOHN POND deceased do make and cause to be made true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods , chattels and credits of the said JOHN POND deceased which have of shall come into the possession of any other person or persons for her and the same to make do, exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the county court of York. At such time she shall be thereunto required by the said court and the same goods, chattels, codicils and all other goods, chattels and credits of the said JOHN POND deceased at the time of his death which at any time after shall come to the hand and possession of her the said ELIZABETH POND or into the hand and possession of any other person or persons for her to well and truly administer according to law. And further to make a true and just account of her acting and doing therein when thereto required by the said court and also pay and deliver all the legacies contained and specified in the said Testament as far as the goods, chattels and credits will thereto extend according to the value thereof and the law shall charge her. Then this obligation to be void or due to remain in full force and virtue.
