- Obituary: T. Holt Brantley, 82, of Ivor died Tuesday April 2, 1985 in his home at Elmwood Farm. He was a retired farmer. Mr Brantley was a member of the Ivor United Methodist Church. He had been a member of the Ivor Masonic Lodge # 291 since 1925. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Hazalette Brantley; a son Robert J. Owens; three sisters, Mildred B. Lane and Dorothy B. Bryant, both of Ivor and Madeline B. Wills of Virginia Beach; a brother L. A. Brantley of Ivor and three grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Thursday April 4, in Purviance Funeral Chapel, Wakefield, by the Revs. E. Lee Chappin and Lewis Harris. Burial was in the Ivor Cemetery. Memorial donations may be sent to the Ivor United Methodist Church.
