Notes	[Fairburn.FTW] Mary's natural father was John R. Harrison of Glen Wilton, Botetourt County, Virginia. Her birth record indicates he was 50 years old and a carpenter by trade. Mary was born at 02:00 PM on April 24, 1921 in Glen Wilton, Va. and was delivered by a midwife named Hanna Reid. The Birth Certificate states that her parents are married but no marriage record has been found. Her Marriage license and her Death Report list her maiden name as Cadd. A cousin Rosetta Cadd Billings the Daughter of Alfred Cadd stated to me in July 1997 that her father told her that John Harrison drank too much and that he told his mother not to marry him. Alfred being the oldest child of the family quit school to work and help raise the family. She stated that he also told her, John Harrison did offer to marry his mother. My aunt Ida Cadd wife of Walter Cadd also told me (August 1997) that she was told by her husband Walter Cadd that Mary's father was John R. Harrison and that he worked at a service station in Iron Gate. She saw him one time when her husband pointed him out and that he was a short stout man. Research conducted by Jerry R. Pond Sr. in July & August 1997. The 1920 Federal Census indicate that John R. Harrison and Bertha V.
