  Notes	SIXTH GENERATION 2k 1 LEVI JOHNSON, son of (22 ?), was born before 1757 (he had to be in order to be appointed guardian of his younger brother). He is listed as head of a family in the Virginia lists with five persons under his roof in 1782 and with six in 178A-.2 We know little about his life except that his wife's name was Elizabeth and he had at least one son named Edmund and possibly others. At his death in 1810 his property was sold at public auction with his wife and son receiving most of the proceeds. Other Johnsons mentioned in the sale were David, Richard, and Randolph.
