Robert and his wife are listed in the census of 1820, with about 20 slaves. She died before 1830 and they didn't seem to have any children. In 1840 Robert, living alone was a relatively wealthy man, with 28 slaves. He died in 1845. His total estate value was $ 11,926.25.
