Notes:
Dear Gene Harris:
Richard EILAND is my sixth-great grandfather. With the exception of his death, you are to be congratulated on the information you provided to FamilySearch for their Individual Record on Richard EILAND.
In March 1733 Richard made his Last Will & Testament. An attempt was made to probate his Will in October 1734. His Will was not probated until October 1735 (the date you gave for his death). More accurately, Richard died after March 1733 and before October 1734. Should you so desire, I would be pleased to send you this documentation.
I know Richard married Elizabeth HEATH "before 1702" because her father James HEATH referred to her as "Elizabeth EILAND" in a Will written that year. I did not know they were married in 1690 in Prince William County, Virginia. Would you be willing to share your documentation?
Yours in EILAND research,
