OBITUARY Wednesday, June 20, 1984
Walter R. Oyer, 92, who organized the school bus system in Stroudsburg, di ed in his home, Stroudsburg, R.D. 4.
Before retiring, he was a dairy farmer for many years.
Born in Mt. Bethel, he was a son of the late Frank and Annie Rasely O yer.
Mr. Oyer began the pupil transportation system by purchasing two wood en frame buses.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Mount Bethel.
Surviving are his wife, the former Emma C. Anglemyer; a daughter, Mr s. Doris Dunkelberger, Stroudsburg R.d. 7, a son Frank of Stroudsburg R.d. 2; eight grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday in the Riochard J. Klovach Fun eral Home. Stroudsburg. Interment will be in Laurelwood Cemetery, Stro udsburg.
